Welcome to St. Mel’s Kindergarten. We are excited to be sharing in this kindergarten experience with your family and hope it will be rewarding and fulfilling for all of us. At St. Mel’s Kindergarten we believe the first five years of a child’s life are the most important and that this is when most rapid development occurs. Therefore, it is our main aim to support the well-being and development of each individual child in our care. St Mel’s Kindergarten recognizes the family as the child’s primary learning environment. We embrace all families, working in partnership with parish and community to engage in a wide range of life-long learning.
We acknowledge and pay respect to the Yorta Yorta people as the original and ongoing custodians of the land upon which St Mel’s Kindergarten is situated. We commit to actively working alongside First Nations people for healing, reconciliation and justice.
